Thank you for visiting our campus! A campus visitor is someone who is not a current student or employee. We offer different parking accommodations for different types of visitors, but all visitors are welcome to park in our Rivers Street Parking Deck for an hourly fee. Please see below for details.
After 5:00 p.m. weekdays, and at all times on weekends, visitors may park free of charge in any campus surface lot except the Rivers Street Parking Deck, unless otherwise posted.
Rivers Street Parking Deck
During normal business hours, 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., most visitors to the campus are required to park in the Rivers Street Parking Deck. The facility is located on Rivers Street between Katherine Harper Hall and Garwood Hall. Look for the pedestrian bridge over the street, as it is a part of the parking deck.
The Rivers Street Parking Deck collection window is open from 8:00 a.m - 8:00 p.m, Monday - Thursday, and from 8:00 a.m - 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Weeknight overnight parking in the Rivers Street Parking Deck is available only to permit holders. Weeknight parking past 8:00 p.m in the Rivers Street Parking Deck without a valid permit will result in citation! Weeknight overnight permits for the Rivers Street Parking Deck can be purchased from the collection window at the exit of the parking deck for $16 from 8:00 a.m - 8:00 p.m, Monday - Thursday, and from 8:00 a.m - 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Departmental Visitor Permits
Departments can order visitor permits here . These permits are valid for one day only and allow parking in any ungated lot and in the 30-minute spaces of the Library parking deck. These permits also allow for one exit from the Rivers Street parking deck per day. To be considered valid the permits must have the date scratched off, otherwise, you risk receiving a citation.
If you are a contractor or a vendor on campus there are a few options for you to choose from.
- Park in the Rivers Street parking deck and paying the daily fee.
- Purchase a contractor/vendor parking permit for the cost of $276 for the entire school year.
- Purchase a monthly permit. This is the same price as the full year permit ($23 per month) but allows you to only purchase permits during the months you need parking.
Both of these permits are available at any time during regular business hours from our office located in the Rivers Street parking deck. New yearly contractor/vendor permits will be available yearly in August.
Were You Issued a Citation While Visiting Campus?

Visitors who received citations should either mail or bring to our office a copy of the citation, their vehicle registration, and their driver’s license. Once we have recorded this information, we will gladly waive the citation for you.
