On Friday, Feb. 15, 280 parking spaces in the Stadium Parking lot will be re-purposed for nearby construction projects.
In order to lessen the impact for those who have permits for the area, Parking & Transportation staff have been preparing by slowly reducing the number of spaces sold in that lot.
There may still, however, be times when the demand for parking in the area is greater than the number of available spaces.
Overflow parking for the Stadium Lot is available in these lots on Bodenheimer Drive:
- Greenwood Lot
- Smith Baseball Stadium - three lots (Former Broyhill Site)
These lots are on AppalCART’s express bus service to Peacock Circle.
- Blue Route buses will run every 20 minutes from 6:55am - 6pm.
- Gold Route buses will run every 30 minutes from 6 - 10pm.
We encourage everyone parking in the Stadium Lot to allow extra time in case you will need to utilize the overflow parking areas.
