Move-in Parking Information for Students
Campus move-in for new and returning students will take place Monday, Aug. 10, through Sunday, Aug. 16, and campus parking arrangements will temporarily change to accommodate move-in operations.
Parking areas near residence halls will be reserved for move-in traffic Monday, Aug. 10, through Sunday, Aug. 16, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Designated move-in unloading zones
- Lots accessed from Stadium Drive: Blue Ridge Parking Deck and Lot (Stadium), Garwood, New River Hall, Stadium Heights Drive and Trivette Hall Circle
- All other lots near residence halls: Appalachian Heights, Brown Street, Cannon Hall, Doughton Hall, Elkstone Hall, Legends, Living Learning Center (LLC), Mountaineer and Mountain Laurel Hall
Parking for students during move-in
These parking areas are available to students during move-in and/or after unloading:
- Greenwood Lot on Bodenheimer Drive
- Hill Street Lot
- Holmes Drive Deck
- Rivers Street Deck
- South Lot on Bodenheimer Drive
- State Farm Lot
2026–27 Boone campus parking permits will be required beginning Monday, Aug. 17, and vehicles must be parked in assigned areas.

These parking areas are available to employees during move-in.
- Parking decks available at no charge: College Street Deck (Library), Holmes Drive Deck and Rivers Street Deck
- All surface lots not designated as move-in parking, excluding spaces posted by sign as being reserved.
