Move-in Parking Information for Students
Campus move-in for new and returning students will take place Monday, Aug. 11, through Sunday, Aug. 17.
All parking areas in proximity to residence halls are reserved for move-in traffic, Monday, Aug. 11, through Friday, Aug. 15, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Use the Fall 2025 Move-in interactive map to locate these parking areas and other campus move-in details.
Where can I park during move-in?
These parking areas are available to students during move-in and/or after unloading:
- Blue Ridge Parking Deck (Stadium)
- Greenwood Lot on Bodenheimer Drive
- Holmes Drive Parking Deck
- Hill Street Lot
- Rivers Street Parking Deck (no charge during move-in)
- South Lot on Bodenheimer Drive
- State Farm Lot
Which parking lots are reserved for move-in traffic?
These parking areas are reserved for move-in traffic Monday, Aug. 11, through Friday, Aug. 15, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., and towing will be enforced.
Please note that students will have 30 minutes to unload their belongings from vehicles, after which vehicles must be moved to one of the parking lots listed above, to allow others to unload.

2025–26 Boone campus parking permits will be required beginning Monday, Aug. 18, and vehicles must be parked in assigned areas.

Faculty/staff displaced from their parking areas may park in the Rivers Street, Holmes Drive or College Street Parking Decks at no charge during move-in.
