All available student parking permits for Spring/Summer 2019 will go on sale in the Parking Office beginning on Friday, January 11, 2019. Office hours will be 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. There are a limited number of permits available for student parking in the following areas:
Prorated cost of $161
- Hill Street Lot
- Appalachian 105
- Greenwood/Baseball Complex Lot
- Appalachian Panhellenic Hall
- State Farm Lot
- Graduate Assistant
Prorated cost of $336
- Rivers St Parking Deck
- Hospital Parking Deck
Prorated cost of $84
- Evening Student Lots (valid after 1:30 p.m.)
This will also be an opportunity to switch your parking assignment to an area other than where you currently park.
QUICK REMINDERS
All permits sold will be valid until August 15, 2019, which includes spring semester and both summer sessions.
Freshman level students may only request Appalachian 105 Lot permits.
Students who wish to change their parking assignment should bring in their current parking permit, and be prepared to pay the mandatory $10.00 processing fee for the issuance of the new permit.
Permits for Appalachian Heights and Appalachian Panhellenic Hall are only available to residents of those complexes.
Graduate Assistant Permits are only available to Graduate Assistants. GA's will need to bring a copy of their contract in order to purchase a GA permit.
Students purchasing a permit for the first time will need to bring the DMV registration card and insurance information for their vehicle with them.
NOTE: Permits must be displayed on all vehicles parked on campus beginning with the first day of spring semester classes, which is Monday, January 14, 2019.
